Looking for something fun to do as a family in November?
Christmas is coming! This is just a taste of the events happening this month. There are many free and paid events and experiences for families- here are some of my favourites!
Many events including free ones are ticketed, be sure to get your tickets soon as they will fill up and sell out.
This year's theme is Christmas Traditions; experience the variety of traditions that friends and family use to celebrate Christmas every year, whether new or old!
Beaverton Lions Annual Santa Claus Parade of Lights and visit with Santa at the Beaverton Fire Hall!
Santa is coming to town November 19, 2022! The parade starts at 6:00 pm.
The Kinette Club of Sutton will be collecting food and cash donations in support of the Georgina Community Food Pantry along the parade route. Watch for their decorated shopping carts to make your donation!
The Santa Claus Parade at 4 pm kicks off with creative floats, costumed walkers and music to get you into the Christmas spirit!
The Spectacular Farmers' Parade of Lights begins at 8 pm with dozens of farming machinery decorated with Christmas Lights slowly making their way along the street...with Santa on the biggest machine of all!

November 12 & 13th
Cost: $7.50, children are Free
The show features over 100 vendors from across Ontario selling a variety of items including chocolate, jam, fudge, sauces, quilts, candles, ceramics, stained glass, wreaths, folk art, woodwork, children's toys, body care products, pewter, Christmas decorations and more! All the items are handcrafted by the crafters themselves.
November 26
Cost: Free
Grinch Scavenger Hunt, Grinch Photo Opp, Prizes, Giveaways, Grinch Outdoor Movie, Face Painting
and so much more! Tree Lighting ceremony takes place at Mill Pond Park at 7pm.
November 20 & 25th
Cost: $139
Skip the mall Santa for a magical experience at Little Rae Goods Toy Store in Newmarket! Spend 10 minutes with Santa storytelling, handing your Santa letters, posing for photos. Professional photos included.
November 26
Cost: Free
If you are looking for a fun activity to do with the family, Home Depot's got a great workshop for kids that will teach them about building. Kids will learn how to build their very own Train Ornament!
Weekends through until Christmas
Cost: $59.99 per family
Meet Santa in His workshop in the magical Christmas Land at Niemi’s Christmas Village in Mount Albert. Santa spends time in His workshop on Fridays and Saturdays to meet children and adults alike.
