Looking for something fun to do as a family in October?
It’s Halloween! This month we’re focusing on fall activities and Halloween fun. It’s a big list, and I’ve tried to represent all of the local areas, and some list-worthy fun events outside of town.
Batman, Princess Halloween Party & Halloween Magic all coming up this month.
Be sure to get your tickets to get lost in the corn maze, and pick out your pumpkin from the field while you're there.
The best apples around. Even better when you pick them yourself!
Stop by Bradford Greenhouses to decorate your own personal pumpkin! No need to register for this free event. Donations of non-perishable food items for the local food bank are appreciated.
Learn about cryptozoology, mythical/magical creatures and leads in the making of a monster journal. Spooky, creative and fun!
In Uxbridge. the York Durham Heritage Railway has fun family events! Take a Hay Train Ride in an open car to the pumpkin patch, with mazes, jumping castles and a petting zoo.
At the Georgina Pioneer Village, featuring family-friendly fun including a magic show, eerie walk in the village, storytelling and more. Wear your costume!

The Family Place in Mount Albert has amazing programs for moms with littles!

How cool is this? Worth the drive to Richmond Hill! Spooktacular Light Show features over 2 million lights on a 2KM route of your family fun favourite characters, pumpkin filled drive thru tunnel, from 2D to 3D displays, music lights and much more.
Get frightfully soaked at the 11th annual haunting of the pool with enchanting games, ghoulish giveaways and more hocus pocus. Spook-tacular fun and goodies for the whole family!
Spookfest is a mix of everything loved about the fall and Halloween and local events. Spooky displays Halloween, dances, costumes parades, butter tart festival, amazing local businesses , farmers market and artisans.
Get your tickets to the Halloween costume party at the Kid's Cuckoos Nest in Aurora. October 29th.
