Looking for something local and fun to do as a family?
School is back in session, and the weather is cooling. It’s a great time to get outside with your family, explore new places, and find family programming as we go into the Fall. It can be difficult to keep track of all the great events happening in our area, so I hope this list helps you get out and have some fun with the kids!

Check out the Bracebridge Fall Fair this weekend, September 16-18th. 3 days of events for kids, and adults!
September 16-17th, lots of events and things to do!
September 17-25th, there is so much going on at the Lindsay Exhibition- animals, music and a midway!
These classes look so great for littles interested in coding and furthering their STEM learning! Get a tour and have some fun while learning about what the centre offers.
From The GCAC: "Drop off your creative kids and have some time for yourself while they have fun creating, eating pizza, and bonding with other art-loving peeps! All materials will be provided for the creation of a personal puppet theatre, complete with curtain and a few stick puppets to begin their own shows!"
At the Georgina Pioneer Village featuring live music, food and vegetable vendors and family fun!
Bouncy Castles, Games, Prizes, BBQ, Refreshments and ice cream. Bring the family and enjoy a fun afternoon outdoors!
Check out the various craft events on Sundays at Michaels! Some crafts are free, other require you to purchase supplies.
The final movie of the season is September 19 @ 8 p.m. (or sunset), at Silver Stream Park

Feature Film: Dino Dana The Movie
From 10:00-2:00, meet the firefighters, see the fire trucks and have some fun! Activities include a barbecue, fire truck rides on pump zero, search and rescue maze, hose target, bouncy castle and more.
I'm looking forward to the return of this event! It will be held at the Sutton District High School grounds. All visitors welcome to enjoy the dancing, music, ceremony, vendors & food.
