I was privileged to photograph this young family’s pregnancy and newborn photos. Another fall outdoor maternity shoot- beautiful location at Ken Reid Conservation area! It was a bit of a hike for me, but well worth the drive to meet the parents-to-be at one of their favourite places! I brought my family and we made a day of it- hiking the short trails and board walks through the marsh. We will definitely come back here to spend more time exploring.
A few weeks later, their sweet baby boy was born and they joined me for an in studio newborn session! Their little guy is as cute as can be, and so small! I was able to get some of my tiniest outfits on him. I chose gray and blue as the colours for the session, and added some yellow to go with the colour of the acoustic guitar. Mama played guitar and wanted her instrument to be a part of the session. I encourage all of my clients to bring important items to the photo session that will help to tell their family’s story. Sometimes that is a homemade blanket from grandma, an antique picnic basket, or a guitar. I will always do my best to fit these special items into the pictures. Enjoy a few of the images from this recent session![su_spacer size=”10″]
